Select a pattern
Select a reoccurring phenomena, arrangement or element in Ard El Lewa‘s informality. This pattern should be linked to a spatial logic.

You are free to use any form of creative graphic communication. Sketch than scan, photomontage, build a 3d model than take a pictures of it, you name it

Create a zip file folder

1. Save your pattern template as a pdf
2. Create a zip file folder that contains your pattern template and a picture of you (portrait format) to be included in the team.
3. Name your zip folder with your first name, last name and affiliation. Ex: Nada Nafeh_UW

Send your zipped folder file
Send your folder to nnafeh@uwaterloo.ca and see your work published within an assembly of patterns discovered and analyzed by experts, architecture students and community members.

Come to the Exhibition
Join us in celebrating pattern, maps, drawings and photographs produced by children and architecture students in the workshop. Your work will also be displayed, of course.
